We've receive money each month from Thrivent through “Choice Dollars”. Investors in Thrivent choice were donations can be made. Many choose Bethany and we are very graitful.

Today the Knights of Columbus are selling Tootsie Rolls in the parking lot. Proceeds go to the Special Olympics and Northwood and Clearwood homes in RLF. Thanks for supporting this wonderful cause.

Bethany's Women of the Word Retreat is Friday, May 4th here at Bethany. Registration and snacks start at 6:30pm. Ann Piersol will be speaking on “Fighting the Monster”; a powerful testimony to how faith works in the middle of a seemingly hopeless situation.

Peggy Miller's piano students will be having their recital here at Bethany on Sunday. May 6th at 6:30pm.
“The Greater Crookston Area Men's Chorus” will be performing on Tuesday, May 8th at 7:00pm. Everyone is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served after. If you are able to bring bars, see Vicki.

Our Senior class of 2012 will be recognized during worship on May 20th. Our Seniors this year are: Sam Brule, Crystal Guenthner, Tyler Hurst, Mikayla Miller, & Jennifer Nord.
Last Wednesday was the last confirmation class of this year for the 8th graders. It has been a great year and we look forward to class in the fall. In the meantime, don't forget to come to worship this summer to get you sermon notes:)
We will ba having Prayers for Healing next Sunday during communion.

The Deacons are meeting with the Confirmands today at 1:00pm.
Service of Confirmation is next Sunday. Please come and support these Youth as they take their next big step of becoming adult members of Bethany. Those affirming their faith are James Hanson, Tristan Knott, Andrew Nord, Alexia Olson, Jayde Sandberg, and Kristina Swenson.
Dorcas Circle is meeting this Wednesday morning at 9:30 with Mavis as hostess and Ann as leader. Everyone is welcome to join them.
Mary Circle is meeting at 5:30pm for Bible Study on Wednesday as well. Chris VanEmmerik is hosting. If this time fits your schedule stop by, they would love to see you.
Bethany will be very busy next weekend with the Cub Scouts having their Pinewood Derby on Saturday at 3:00pm.

Today is 1st Communion! Those receiving communion for the first time are Allison Aakhus, Jaron Bernier, Courtney Piersol, Madison Schmitz, and Tyee Seeger. Pastor has had a wonderful time teaching this class the sacrament of communion.
There is no Sunday School next week, but there will be 2 Easter services to pick from, 7:30 and 10:00am.

Today we will have prayers for healing during the offertory. Those wishing to have prayers with the pastor and an assistant may come forward during the offertory hymn. Please fill out a prayer request form from the ushers.
Church Council will meet this Wednesday as soon as Lenten Services are over.
Lenten Supper will be grilled burgers, hot dogs, and salads served the Youth Group starting at 5:30pm this Wednesday evening.
1st Communion classes for the 4th and 5th graders are well under way. Attendance is very important. They will receive their 1st communion on April 1st.
The 9th graders will affirm their baptism for confirmation during worship on April 22nd.
Quilting has gone very well these past 2 months as you can see by all the beautiful quilts all over the church. Most of them have a destination. Some are going over seas, some to VIP in TRF, some the the Mission in GF and some to the Care 'n Share in Crookston. If you find one you absolutely love, you can purchase it for $75. The money will go back in to the quilting fund for next year's quilting. God's blessings will be spread far and wide with the love that has gone into each and every quilt.

at 7:00pm. Chris Tomlin is performing. He is an excellent worship
music singer, writer, and leader. Cost is $22, or may be $18 if we
have 15 or more. We are planning to order tickets by the end of
February. Talk to David or Peggy Miller if you are interested. All
ages are welcome!
